What is SongDear?
SongDear is an invitation-beta service for personalized AI song gifts. Your memories guide the lyrics and musical performance for a birthday, anniversary or wedding gift. You can listen to our public examples now; account access and full song production are not yet open.
How personal will my song be?
Your memories are the starting point. The intended workflow lets you review the lyric draft, edit each line and confirm your words before music generation. Specific places, shared rituals and phrases help make the story personal.
Are the songs made with AI?
Yes. AI helps write and perform each original song, guided by your story and feedback. Our virtual performers describe musical styles, not a guaranteed fixed voice. Public examples use illustrative stories and are not customer testimonials.
Can I change something I don’t love?
Lyrics can be reviewed before production. Creative revisions depend on your invitation’s package: Essential includes none, Signature includes one and Keepsake includes two. Audio editing is currently disabled pending verification. Delivery problems can be reported for separate review without using a creative revision.
How does the invitation beta work?
Anyone can listen to the public examples. Account access and full production are currently gated while we verify the service. When invitations open, a valid invitation will be required for a complete song. No payment is collected during the beta.
How much does a personalized song cost?
The proposed launch prices are $19 for Essential, $39 for Signature and $79 for Keepsake. These are planned prices, not current purchase offers. During the invitation beta, an invitation includes a package and no payment is collected.
How long will a song take?
The planned production targets are 24 hours for Essential and 48 hours for Signature and Keepsake, starting after a complete story and invitation are accepted. These are targets for the planned beta workflow, not verified delivery guarantees. Time waiting for you to choose a candidate is separate.
Will anyone else see our story?
Your story and song are private by default. A gift link is unlisted; anyone you give it to can open it until you revoke it. Public showcases and marketing require separate permission. The examples on this website contain illustrative stories, not private account materials.
What will I receive, and how long are files kept?
The planned packages include a complete 2–3 minute song, MP3, lyrics and a personal gift page. Incomplete drafts are retained for 30 days and beta deliveries for 90 days from creation. Download the files you want to keep; a gift page is not permanent storage.
Can I use a song commercially or request a famous singer’s voice?
Only submit stories, photos and recordings you have permission to use. SongDear does not promise worldwide exclusive copyright in AI output or imitation of a named performer. Do not assume a generated song grants every right needed for commercial use; see our AI approach and terms for the stated boundaries.
